Did you know? Half of the world’s largest tax havens are based out of Europe. At times, the term Tax Haven becomes subjective, in the sense, for some a ‘pure’ tax haven is a country or region where no tax is paid (personal, profession or whatsoever).
For some with a broader scope, the definition ‘Tax Haven’ is defined as a region or countries where the corporate tax rates are comparatively low. A perfect example would be the Netherlands, Ireland, Switzerland and more.
Ireland has been home to a lot of early stages and late-stage startups with global outreach. Quite lately, tech startups working on Cloud-based solutions, AI, Blockchain, and IoT are gaining momentum. Ireland’s capital city Dublin is the place to be for would-be entrepreneurs. It is one of the few places in Europe that is extremely supportive of businesspeople seeking to start up a new venture.
Tech startups in Dublin are based out of SiliconDocks, an area boasting around 7,000 tech professionals. Creating a Silicon Valley-style campus atmosphere, Dublin has attracted numerous tech giants including Google, Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, PayPal, eBay, Etsy, Amazon, Groupon, and more to base their EU operations.
Moreover, this city boasts the youngest population in Europe, not-so-strict work visa system and of course four universities as well. Additionally, costs including salaries, rents and professional fees have become more affordable than other European countries in recent years.
Having said that, we have come up with the list of interesting startups in Dublin to work for this year with the help of Dealroom. Check it out.
